The Canberra Writers Festival is a five-day celebration of literature, reading, writing and writers that offers something for everyone– including top-class journalists, big names from across the globe, thriller and crime authors, military and defence writers, political commentators, childrens’ and young adult writers. The Festival offers a range of events including author talks, literary lunches and dinners, exciting panel presentations, musical treats and family events.

Spread across some of the National Capital’s most iconic venues, including vibrant national institutions like the National Library of Australia, Australian National University, National Museum of Australia, the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House and the National Press Club of Australia, CWF will host some incredible authors including some from Hardie Grant:
