Hardie Grant Publishing, (HGP) one of Australia’s leading independent publishing companies, is looking for a highly motivated National Sales Manager starting in October 2016.

This is a senior role within Hardie Grant Publishing and reports directly to the Director of HGP ANZ International Sales and Representation.

The National Sales Manager is responsible for directing and controlling the ANZ sales strategies and achieving sales budgets. Reporting to the role are Key Account Managers, the national sales team and the National Sales Coordinator.

Working closely with publishing and marketing teams, the National Sales Manager has a vital role in maximising the sales potential in the ANZ markets for Hardie Grant Books, Hardie Grant Egmont and Hardie Grant Travel lists. This includes selling leading local authors such as Bob Brown, Luke Nguyen and Sally Rippin, and across leading brands such as Star Wars and Minecraft and imported publishing lists of distinctive publishers such as Chronicle Books, Rizzoli USA, Andrews McMeel Publishers, Quadrille Books, Michael O’Mara, Marco Polo and Michelin in Australia and where relevant in NZ.

Suitable candidates will ideally have several years’ experience working in a senior sales position. A requirement of the role will be some interstate travel.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
