The Business Development Manager is responsible for implementing Hardie Grant Media’s articulated business development plan, focusing on new client and project acquisition across print and digital platforms nationally.
While the above role will demand the significant majority of time, it also requires management of one or two existing or new client accounts, in order to keep connected to the day to day of client requirements and the changing media landscape.
Both areas of responsibility require a skill set that can drive successful new business outcomes, while developing client relationships with longevity.
A strong communicator who loves to be part of a team but has the confidence to work autonomously, you have natural persuasive sales skills and an ability to see opportunities everywhere you look.
As a results-driven strategic thinker, you have a competitive streak – a desire to win; you love delivering results that exceed expectations, and are excited about the challenge of winning and building new business.
A solid understanding of multiplatform content marketing and custom publishing models gained from relevant experience both in Australia and/or overseas is essential.
You need to be able to conceive and articulate how we can assist clients achieve their objectives. Our creative and sales teams will support you, but we need you to lead confidently.
