For many years Tasmania has been renowned as the Apple Isle. Today, however, Tasmania produces more than just apples. It has produced a food and wine industry which is dynamic, innovative and buzzing with life.

This beautifully designed book tells the stories of 41 Tasmanians whose lives have been shaped by their passion for food. Among them are Matthew Evans, widely known as the ‘Gourmet Farmer’; Kirsha Kaechele, Feast Curator at MONA and wife of MONA owner David Walsh; and Luke Burgess, chef at Garagistes, one of Tasmania’s premier restaurants.
