During a career lasting into seven decades, Frank Lloyd Wright (1867–1959) not only designed buildings, he drew them with legendary skill. Wright designed all types of structures, from civic centers and cinemas to his many Prairie-style homes, and often the furnishings within. Considered by many to be America’s greatest architect, he transformed his field and infused his works with the spirit of organic architecture. A modernist, Wright was also a romantic, an iconoclast, and a champion of the individual. The twelve images in this calendar, alongside quotations, reveal the tremendous range of Wright’s imagination.
