Brought up in Adelaide, Helen Hayward taught in universities and trained in psychotherapy in the UK, leading to her first book Never Marry a Girl With a Dead Father. Now a freelance writer living in Hobart, Helen edited and wrote for a Tasmanian lifestyle magazine for two years. Her most recent work is an app for The School of Life UK called Food as Therapy.
