Company History

Hardie Grant Egmont is a joint venture between Hardie Grant Publishing and Egmont UK Ltd.

Formed in 2002, the business has grown rapidly to become a top ten children's book publisher in Australia & New Zealand in under 10 years, with many accolades along the way including winning multiple children's choice awards for best-selling series Go Girl and Zac Power.

In 2010 Hardie Grant Egmont acquired the Little Hare children's publishing business. Little Hare is a well respected Australian children's list with international reach and is home to top children's authors and illustrators from around the globe. The Little Hare list is a perfect fit for the local publishing list of Hardie Grant Egmont and mix of wonderful titles in the Egmont UK list.
