John Ellicott

John Ellicott is the author of Waterhouse and Smith: The rise to power of two racing dynasties. John has spent twenty years working as a journalist for various publications, including Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, The Illawarra Mercury  and the Australian, where he reported on the Fine Cotton inquiry. He later became the nation’s first gaming writer. John’s successful first book, A Year on the Punt, looks at Australian country racing.
