Glenn Wheatley
For more than four decades Glenn Wheatley has been known on the Australian music scene as both the bass guitarist of the1960s Australian pop group The Masters Apprentices, and as a successful music manager whose clients have included John Farnham, The Little River Band and Delta Goodrem. Glenn Wheatley currently runs a management company that focuseson artist and sports management, music recording and publishing, tour promotionand event management. His memoir, Facing the Music, describes his role in the Australian Tax Office’s Project Wickenby, the terrifying raids on his home, the gruelling court case in which the DPP reneged on a non-custodial sentencein return for his co-operation and finding himself sentenced to 15 months’ jail.
