Hugh Evans

Hugh Evans is the founder of the Oaktree Foundation, a youth-run international aid organisation, and a principal organiser in the Make Poverty History campaign. He was co-chair of the Youth 2020 Summit in April 2008, and Young Australian of the Year 2004. His previous book, Stone of the Mountain, detailed his year living in South Africa building an orphanage for children orphaned by AIDS.
